Questions & Answers:
Do you repair existing gates or motors?
No. We specialise exclusively in the manufacture and professional installation of new gate infrastructure and automation systems. We do not offer a "patch-up" or repair service for third-party gates or motors.
What is the difference between a custom gate and a kit gate?
A kit gate (like Colorbond) comes in standard sizes and colors. These are cost-effective and great for standard openings. A custom gate is fabricated to the exact millimeter of your site, allowing us to account for sloping ground, non-standard widths, and specific architectural styles.
Can any gate be automated?
Most new gates can be automated, provided there is enough "run-back" room for a sliding gate or structural support for a swing gate. During our site verification, we check for levels and clearances to ensure the motor can operate without strain.
What power do I need for an automated gate?
We offer two main options:
240V Hardwired: Requires an electrician to run power to the gate motor (the most reliable option for high-use gates).
Solar Powered: A great alternative if running power is too expensive or difficult. Our solar kits are high-quality and designed for Australian conditions.
Do you handle the electrical work?
We handle the installation and programming of the gate motor and safety sensors. If a new 240V power point is required at the gate, we can coordinate with our preferred sparky or work with yours.
